John Clay, PE

Our commissioning guru, John, has more than fifteen years experience in the design and installation of complex mechanical systems. His background provided a natural segue to become the “verifier” of building systems functionality. After all, as John says “it could be the greatest design on paper, but without proper installation, it doesn’t mean much.” John believes that with the decline and associated cost of natural resources, it makes sense to pursue buildings that consume less energy. His work is inspired by the legacy of natural resources he wants to leave behind for his children and grandchildren.
