Long before “green” became the new “black,” Susan has been interested in and inspired by sustainable design. Driven to learn and do more, Susan got involved with groups like ADSPR (Architects/Designers/Planners for Social Responsibility), AIA Committee on the Environment and the USGBC. Soon after, she started integrating sustainability into the firm’s Special Needs Housing projects. Living and working in Chicago, a city that’s striving to become the greenest city in the nation, Susan hopes that her work with GreenWorks Studio will prove that doing the “right thing” is good for business…. and you know, save the world in the process.
