Elisabeth Newell Speaks at sixth annual Sustainability Conference at UCSB

Newell will be speaking at the sixth annual Sustainability Conference at University of California, Santa Barbara. Her presentation will discuss CSU Fullerton’s Student Recreation Center, which won the conference’s “Best Overall Sustainable Design.”

The conference is hosted by the University of California, California State University, and California Community Colleges. This year’s conference is expected to be one of the largest events of its kind in the nation, with an estimated 800 participants. Last year’s conference brought in close to 600 participants and representatives from all over the state including all ten UC campuses, 20 CSU campuses, and 10 community colleges. The conference highlights the work of staff, faculty, and students who are working toward sustainability on their campuses.
